Taforalt Caves

A new solar farm project has been officially launched in southern Morocco, aiming to generate 100 MW of clean energy. This ambitious initiative is expected to significantly reduce carbon emissions and contribute to Morocco’s renewable energy targets for 2030. The project will use state-of-the-art photovoltaic technology and is supported by international investors focused on sustainable development. In addition to its environmental benefits, the project plans to create numerous jobs for local communities during the construction and operation phases, promoting economic growth in the region. This solar farm is part of Morocco’s larger strategy to diversify its energy mix and strengthen energy security.
