The main aim of the "Special Section: Exploring the Nexus of Digital and Sustainable Economies in Developing States" is to investigate and understand the synergistic relationship between digitalisation and sustainable economic development in developing countries. This involves examining how digital technologies can be leveraged to drive sustainable growth, improve efficiency, and address economic, social, and environmental challenges specific to these regions.

The Special Section is supported by the Causality in the Era of Big Data and AI and its applications to innovation management CF 268/29.11.2022 and by the project Increasing institutional performance through the development of the infrastructure and research ecosystem of transdisciplinary excellence in the socio-economic field, PERFECTIS ID 585, CF 42PFE of 30.12.2021.
