If you think my home country's prison is bad, wait 'till you hear about its main hospital. Hospital Nacional San Juan de Dios. Here's a short story to give you an idea: 2 years ago, my grandma on my mom's side had slipped and fell, and was sent to that hospital. During her stay, she was malnourished and the nurses even made fun of her being sick, in front of my relatives who were staying with her. Worse of all, they put some unknown substance in her IV, and that nearly took her life. Those relatives took her out of the hospital and instead took my (then, after the experience) extremely skinny and pale grandma to a clinic. She's still with us today.
